What were the goals of the instruction? Goals: (1).To understand how to connect to a Wi-Fi network on a Windows computer. (2).How to create and show your Wi-Fi password in network settings. (3). Understand essential Network settings and tasks in Windows.
How effective was it? It was Very effective as this is something I will utilize each time I use a laptop or desktop computer for work and home. I can transfer the skills and knowledge of what I have learned to a real world performance daily as needed. The needs of the intended audience were met as this training is for anyone that uses a laptop, desktop, mobile device to connect to them to a Wi-Fi network. This instructional training took into account what audience already new which is how to use a computer and correctly identified a need which is to use windows computers to connect to the internet via a wireless connection like Wi Fi.
What are three things you learned that you are not likely to forget? (1). How to connect to Wi-Fi network using a QR code. (2.) How to determine if I am connected or disconnected to Wi-Fi network. (3.) How to show or hide my Wi-Fi network Password.
Based on what you have read about instructional design, how important is this field to your future work goals? Instructional Design is extremely important to my future work goals. Proper implementation of any training curriculum in corporate IT will be dependent on how effective instructional materials, training, assessments successfully align with learning needs. Being a Subject Matter Expert is an functional role that i will have to perform as a part of future work goals in Project Management and I.T. Service Operations by providing training during project demonstrations and user acceptance testing.
